SHA-256 — the public masters

HOM3 is one cross-platform package — the same file runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. There is one hash to check. Compute the SHA-256 of the file you received and match it below. If it matches, byte-for-byte, your copy is the genuine, untampered HOM3. If it doesn’t — do not install it, and tell us.

How to compute your hash

Windows (PowerShell): Get-FileHash .\HOM3.zip -Algorithm SHA256 macOS / Linux (Terminal): shasum -a 256 HOM3.zip Compare the output to the line for your platform above. Case doesn’t matter; every character must match.

This is the hash of the public package — the unmodified product, identical for everyone, every platform. One file, one hash, by design: HOM3 carries no compiled per-OS binaries, just portable source and a launcher for each system (HOM3.cmd for Windows, HOM3.command for Mac, HOM3.sh for Linux). Your license is a separate signed file you add afterward; it carries your name and never alters the package. After install, confirm your footer reads “Licensed to [your name].”
